Clay Jenkinson will be joined by actor and TCC Roper Performing Arts Center Director Paul Lasakow in a performance that features recitation of great moments in Shakespeare, commentary, biographical details, discussions of the great Shakespeare themes, and a practical guide to overcoming “Shakespeare intimidation.”
Witty, probing, and funny, Jenkinson provides an evening of insight and laughter in this program, an unforgettable tribute to the life and work of the greatest writer in the English language. Jenkinson and Lasakow will include the iconic graveyard scene from Hamlet, with Jenkinson playing Hamlet and Lasakow the gravedigger. Jenkinson and Lasakow strive to make Shakespeare approachable and relevant to today’s audiences.
