Presented in partnership by Vail Symposium, Benj Gershman, and the Vilar Performing Arts Center
This program is for everyone — this issue affects everyone — and we look forward to welcoming parents and grandparents, teachers and coaches, providers and caregivers, employers and employees, athletes and researchers, adventurers and influencers. Addressing behavioral health takes a village and all are welcome at Mountains & Minds.
Demand is increasing for mental and behavioral health services in Colorado’s mountain towns and across the country. According to the CDC, more than 1 in 5 adults in America experience mental illness every year. Even more concerning, over 1 in 5 youth (ages 13-18) either currently or at some point during their life, have had a seriously debilitating mental illness.
Presented in partnership by the Vail Symposium, Benj Gershman (O.A.R., What Could Be Bad podcast), and the Vilar Performing Arts Center (VPAC), Mountains & Minds is a mental health summit that aims to strengthen community by elevating and destigmatizing mental health conversations. The event will be held September 13, 2024, at the VPAC in Beaver Creek.
