Students Shoulder-to-Shoulder and the Vail Symposium are proud to co-present the plenary session at the 2023 Ethical Leadership Forum!
The Ethical Leadership Forum is a collaborative event that brings together emerging and experienced leaders across sectors—education, non-profit, business, government, philanthropy, media, and more—to learn, share and grow their unique and interconnected ways of advancing ethical leadership.
Ticket options include the Full Day Program with Breakfast & Lunch ($85), the Full Day Program without meals ($65), or a Livestream option ($15 – only includes the plenary session). All proceeds benefit Students Shoulder-to-Shoulder and Vail Symposium.
The plenary session from 10:45-11:45AM MT on Friday, October 27th features TED-style talks by three accomplished leaders from different sectors exploring ethical leadership in government and international relations, international NGOs, higher education and the Fortune 500. The lunch to follow will be in the “Jeffersonian” style (diverse groups with topical prompts). The presenters are:
- Ambassador Catherine Ebert-Gray served Presidents Obama and Trump as ambassador to Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and Vanuatu after nearly three decades in foreign service around the world including Egypt, Australia, Togo, Papua New Guinea, Germany, Mali, The Philippines, and Morocco. She recently retired after three years as the Director of Global Education at the University of Colorado in order to return to State Department service.
- Dr. Karambu Ringera was born and raised in Kenya and is the Founder and President of the International Peace Initiatives. She is a visionary, an activist, a compassionate, committed, formidable force for change, and an inspiration to all who meet her.
- Logan Thompson is a Leadership Architect for the Potential Project uniquely informed by his broad scope of experience including consulting for McKinsey with the Fortune 500, living at a meditation center, serving as an adjunct professor, and authoring a book about mindfulness and mental performance.
The full day pass includes the 7:45-8:30AM “Education in Panama Post-COVID,” the 8:30-9:15AM “International Service: A Win-Win for Rotary Club and their Partners,” and the 9:30-10:30AM “Better Business Through Ethical Leadership” sessions.
