The message can be either ominous or optimistic: David Ewing Duncan predicts that one day we will remember the moment robots truly arrived.
Duncan introduced the Vail Symposium audience to several of the robots we are likely to encounter in the future such as the warrior bot and the intimacy bot. With each robot, a case could be made of the positive or deleterious effects such robots might impart. While their impact remains to be seen, one thing that is clear is that robots are on their way.
