Former Under Secretary of Domestic Finance | US Treasury Department

    Tony is responsible for leading and managing an investment firm that manages over $200B for institutional investors globally and previously served as the Chief Administrative Officer at Fidelity Investments.

    From 2006 through 2009, he served in the United States Treasury Department in a variety of roles including Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Treasury and Under Secretary of Domestic Finance (Acting). He oversaw U.S. Treasury financing, public debt management, Federal regulation of financial markets, and advised the Secretary on key policy matters during the global financial crisis. Before serving in Washington, D.C., he held numerous leadership positions at several asset management firms including GMO, State Street Global Advisors, PanAgora Asset Management and The Boston Company.  

    Tony received a Master’s degree from London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester. For his leadership and contributions during the global financial crisis, Tony was awarded the Alexander Hamilton Award, the U.S. Treasury Department’s highest honor.
