Vice President and COO | Beaver Creek Resort
Nadia Guerriero serves as the vice president and chief operating officer at Beaver Creek Resort, a role she has held since 2019. Previously, Guerriero served as vice president and general manager of Northstar California Resort. Before her career in resort operations, Guerriero worked in athlete management, representing snowsports and Olympic athletes.
She represented athletes for more than 10 years, serving X-Games and Olympic athletes and traveling to three Olympic Games: Nagano, Salt Lake and Torino, as well as the 1999 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships (in Beaver Creek!) and the 1999 World Athletic Championships. Her clients included world class athletes like Jonny Moseley and Picabo Street. From this experience, Guerriero gained extensive knowledge about the ski industry, events and operations.
She translated that experience into an opportunity with Northstar California, taking on the role of Director of Events and Conference Services in 2007. She was then promoted to Senior Director of Base Area Operations, Village and Events. While at Northstar, she focused on improving the guest experience, and built and strengthened relationships with an extensive group of stakeholders. In her current role, Guerriero implements all of these skills, while focusing on her passion for leadership development.
Guerriero is truly passionate for the outdoors and recreation. Growing up in Colorado, she learned to cross country ski, hike and camp at a young age with her family. Guerriero studied at CU Boulder, and interned in the athletic department, furthering her interest in sports and recreation. She left Colorado in 2000 and spent three years in Southern California before landing in Reno, NV for 15 years.
Guerriero loves to spend her free time with her daughter, Marlow, and husband, Aaron, paddle boarding, skiing, bike riding and practicing yoga.
