Jack Santucci is a political scientist and author of “More Parties or No Parties: The Politics of Electoral Reform in America” (2022, Oxford). His research centers on American politics in comparative and historical perspectives and can be found in Electoral Studies, Public Opinion Quarterly, Social Science Quarterly and other journals. He also has written for The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Washington Post, The New York Daily News, Democracy Journal and a range of academic blogs. With Matthew Shugart and Michael S. Latner, he is the co-author of a chapter on proportional representation in the 2023 report of the American Political Science Association’s Presidential Task Force on Political Parties.
