Scott Chase is a partner of Politicalworks and has served in a variety of executive positions in the public, private and political sectors. Mr. Chase served as senior policy advisor and deputy political director for Governor Roy Romer from 1993-1996 where he helped oversee all political and public policy issues affecting the State, accompanied the Governor on statewide and national travel, composed major public policy communications and represented and spoke on behalf of the Governor. In addition, Mr. Chase has also served as the campaign manager, political and communications director for nationally targeted U.S. Senate and U.S. House races in Colorado where he directed all aspects of the campaign and developed and implemented free and paid-media strategy, including direct mail, radio and television advertising and served as chief media spokesperson. Mr. Chase continues to be involved in and serve as counsel on variety of bipartisan state and federal campaigns.

In addition to his public and political background, Mr. Chase was the founder and principal of Chase Strategies, L.L.C., a consulting firm providing services to private sector clients in the areas of government affairs, public relations and community outreach. Mr. Chase has worked as a senior executive within numerous industries including telecommunications, healthcare and high-tech where he helped oversee government relations and public affairs for companies such as the St. Anthony Hospital System, Colorado’s largest, faith-based healthcare system, and ICG Communications, a billion-dollar, Colorado-based telecommunications company.
