Senior Director | USA Today Sports
Nate Scott is the senior director at USA Today Sports and soccer is in his veins. Born to a father who played in college and holds an ‘A’ level coaching license and a mother who authored, “Smart Soccer: How to Use Your Mind to Play Your Best,” Nate grew up with a ball at his feet and a pen in his hand. Nate joined the founding team for fledging social sports blog initiative, For The Win, and has covered soccer and many other sports for over 10 years for Fox Sports, SB Nation, and USA Today Sports Media Group. He’s also a co-producer and host of The Sneak, a true-crime-by-athletes podcast that has been downloaded over 2.5 million times and co-wrote and appeared in Foul Play: Paid In Mississippi, a four-part documentary series sold to Verizon’s Go90 network. He holds a BA and MA from Tulane University and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
