CEO | Crone
Kyle Cureau is the CEO of Crone, a learning app that helps you write and think like the greatest minds of all time.
At age 19, Cureau dropped out of college to co-found BuyWell, a consumer packaged goods (CPG) company. Cureau grew BuyWell from $0 to $1 million in annual revenue over three years. After BuyWell, Cureau became a “digital nomad,” working from more than 30 countries, building apps and patented data tech for Fortune 500s.
In San Francisco, Cureau joined as the entrepreneur-in-residence for Entangled Ventures. He meanwhile served as the director of strategy at Entangled Solutions, where he led the firm’s largest partnerships.
After Entangled, Cureau became executive director of Matterfund, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. Under Cureau’s leadership, Matterfund enlisted 2,000 NGOs and funders across 92 countries. Cureau later led Matterfund’s merger with R4D’s Center for Education Innovation.
Cureau and his wife India moved to London in 2020. From there, Cureau started Hakeema, a digital platform to help multilaterals manage stakeholder networks. Hakeema partnered with some of the world’s largest NGOs, reaching more than 250,000 annual users.
Cureau and India are now back in the United States with their two-year-old, Thomas. They’re working together on Crone AI, their shared dream to make the contemplative life less rare. Crone uses AI to re-invent educational media, starting with topics like writing and literature. For inquiries or more information, you can reach Kyle at kyle@crone.ai.
