Associate Professor of Theatre & Director of the Applied Shakespeare Program | University of Colorado - Boulder

    Kevin Rich is currently an Associate Professor of Theatre and Director of the Applied Shakespeare graduate certificate program at the University of Colorado Boulder.  Directing credits include Much Ado About Nothing, Merry Wives of Windsor, Pericles, King John and King Charles III: A Future History Play at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival,  The Winter’s Tale and The Importance of Being Earnest at the American Shakespeare Center, Lord of the Flies at Nebraska Repertory Theatre, I Heart Juliet and Antony & Cleopatra at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, and The Comedy of Errors and Falstaff in Love at CU Boulder. 

    His play The Magical Mind of Billy Shakespeare is published by Playscripts, Inc and his immersive play ShakesFear, co-written with Andy Park, has been produced by the Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Nebraska Rep, CU Boulder; and Montverde Academy.  Kevin is a member of AEA and SAG/AFTRA and an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. He holds a BA from Grinnell College and an MFA from Yale School of Drama.
