Representative Dylan Roberts has served in the Colorado House of Representatives since 2017. He represents House District 26 (Eagle County and Routt County) and currently serves as the Chair of the House Rural Affairs and Agriculture Committee, the Chair of the Capital Development Committee and as a member of the House Judiciary Committee. During his time in office, he has passed over a dozen pieces of legislation focused on water conservation, environmental protection, affordable housing, transportation funding and safety and health care. Specifically in health care policy, he has been the lead sponsor of the bills to create a public health insurance option, to allow for health insurance co-op formation, drug price transparency and investigation, youth mental health education and suicide prevention and more. Rep. Roberts grew up in Steamboat Springs and now lives in Avon with his fiancé, Sarah Andrews. He holds a degree in political science from Boston College and a law degree from the University of Colorado. When the legislature is not in session, he works as an Eagle County Deputy District Attorney in Eagle.
