Dr. Ritwick Ghosh

Ritwick Ghosh is an Assistant Professor at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver. Ritwick studies and teaches environmental economics and governance. Ritwick grew up in India and has worked in four different countries. He has written extensively on political and macro-economic issues in Asia. Relevant to this meeting, Ritwick wrote a series of papers with the Asian Development Bank on the fallout of the impacts of the Global Recession on Asian countries and later a policy monograph with the now Chief Economic Advisor of India on the topic of US-China trade relations.  Ritwick’s more recent work centers on the environmental sustainability issues in India and beyond. He is currently completing a book project on Indian forest governance. Ritwick is also the Associate Editor for the journal Society and Natural Resources. Ritwick received his PhD (2019) and Masters (2013) from Cornell University and has completed Fellowships at Arizona State University and New York University.
