Christopher R. Friese, RN, Ph.D. is the Elizabeth Tone Hosmer Professor and Director of the Center for Improving Patient and Population Health at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. Dr. Friese leads a multidisciplinary research team focused on measuring and improving the quality and safety of cancer care. From September 2017-August 2018, Dr. Friese was a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health Policy Fellow in the United States Senate, where he worked on health reform in addition to a diverse health policy portfolio.
