Nick Fickling
Nick Fickling served for 26 years in the British Army, two of which he worked as an exchange officer in what is now the US National Geospatial Agency (NGA). Towards the end of his career he was assigned to run Joint Geographic support to the US CENTCOM Forward HQ in Riyadh.
Since becoming a veteran Nick has run an environmental not for profit, lobbied the British Parliament for the reduction of government control of geospatial data, worked as a diplomatic for the European Union in Republika Srpska and, since moving to Colorado in 1999, he has worked as a ski instructor, ski coach and college adjunct Professor and tutor at CMC.
