2008 Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman is the op-ed columnist for The New York Times and the author of the bestseller, The Conscience of a Liberal. He is one of the founders of the “new trade theory,” a major rethinking of the international trade theory, for which he was awarded the John Bates Clark medal by the American Economic Association. A professor of economics and international affairs at Princeton University, Krugman has written or edited 20 books and more than 200 papers in professional journals and edited volumes. |
